Capital Striders Central Iowa Running Club
Capital Striders is an organization of Central Iowa runners and joggers based in Des Moines, Iowa.

Our membership of more than 500 promotes the health, physical fitness, and social benefits of running through the sponsorship of local track clubs and civic organizations, Club races, group training sessions, and clinics.

Capital Striders have a tradition of presenting world-class speakers from the world of running at our Annual Meeting & Dinner and this year is no exception. This year we welcome Suzy Favor Hamilton to Des Moines to address our membership.

After a wonderful dinner and Club business meeting which will include our election of board members, Ms. Hamilton will share with us the highlights of her illustrious running career.
