Sandy Ostby and Connie Van Kirk treat their mother, Jeanne Murphy, to Loop the Lake for her 70th birthday. Sandy and Jeanne live in Hastings, MN and Connie in Kansas City. They decided on a race in Des Moines since it was halfway between the two cities.
