Registration opens February 1, 2025!
- From February 8, 2025 to April 8, 2025, it will be $50.
- After April 8, 2025, it will be $60
- Online registration ends April 10. In person registration is available at packet pickup on Friday, April 11, or before the race on Saturday morning!

CALLING ALL ELITES:

Loop the Lake is part of the Central Iowa Race League. Free entry will be given to elite runners who meet time qualifications for an 8K race. The standards for the featured race are 26 minutes for men and 30 minutes for women. Elite entry inquiries should be made to: Tysonw123@live.com
*Equivalent race times for other distances will be considered.

GETTING THERE: Limited parking is available in Gray’s Lake. There is parking in Waterworks Park. You can access Gray’s Lake via the tunnel from Waterworks Park.

Gray's Lake Park is located just South of downtown on Fleur Avenue. From the north, merge onto I-235 take exit 7A ML King Parkway and head South 2.3 miles (MLK Ave becomes Fleur Ave). From the South, take Highway 65/Hwy 5 Bypass to Army Post Road and head North on Army Post then left onto Fleur Drive. Take Fleur Dr. until Gray's Lake is on your right.

LITTLE LAKERS RUN will start at approximately 10:00 am.

AWARDS: Loop the Lake is one of the races that is part of the Central Iowa Race League (CIRL). Athletes that meet certain time standards receive free entry to Loop the Lake. These athletes are eligible for awards through the CIRL but are not eligible for any of the Loop the Lake awards.

The top three overall males and top three overall females will receive cash awards paid out by the CIRL. The top three males and females overall who did not get a free entry into the race will receive the overall Loop the Lake awards.

All athletes that paid an entry fee are eligible for the Loop the Lake awards whether they are part of the CIRL or not, including the age group awards.

Additionally, the top three finishers in 10-year age groups through 70+, male and female, will receive a medal.
