I know New Year's has come and gone awhile ago, but I wanted to post the photos from this well attended get together. If you recall, it was bitterly cold, and the wind was blowing. The good news is the camaraderie amongst the Striders and their friends and family made for enjoyable way to ring in the New Year's. The potluck spread covered a number of tables, and we packed the shelter house. Here are just a few of the photos from the social event.
We raised a generous donation to the Boys' and Girls' Club of Iowa in both cash and donations of new winter clothing, which after the bitter cold of this winter was gratefully accepted.
